Windstorms, heavy wet snow and ice bring trees down every winter in northwest Washington. If one has come down on your property, call (360) 503-0571. Emergency service is available 24/7, including nights and weekends.

First, stay safe
- Keep everyone, including kids and pets, away from the fallen tree and anything it’s touching.
- If a tree or limb is touching a power line, assume the line is live. Call your electric utility, and 911 if anyone is hurt or in danger.
- Don’t try to cut a tree that’s under tension or resting on a structure. Trunks and limbs can spring or shift when cut.
- If it’s safe to do so, take photos of the damage for your insurance company before anything is moved.
What we handle
- Trees on roofs, decks, garages and outbuildings
- Trees across driveways, private roads and fences
- Hung-up trees and “widowmaker” limbs caught in other trees
- Broken tops and split trunks that are still standing
- Uprooted trees and root plates after saturated-soil blowdowns
- Storm debris cleanup, chipping and haul-off
After the emergency
Once the immediate hazard is gone, we can look at the trees left standing. Storms often expose trees that were weakened or newly exposed to wind. If you’re rebuilding, we can also handle grading and site work through baxterexcavation.com.
Insurance
We can provide a written description of the work and an itemized invoice for your insurance claim. Coverage is between you and your insurer, so check your policy and talk to your agent.
